Contest # 5 -CLOSED
Theme: Seasons
Voting: Closed

Description: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. You may choose just one, or any combination of seasons. You can even do all of them if you want! What does Oz look like covered in snow? What do the Wicked characters do when it's cold, windy, and rainy outside? When it's summertime, does Elphaba go tanning at the beach? When all the flowers pop up in spring, how does Galinda react? Be creative! Almost anything goes.

Prize: ~The-Wicked-Club will feature you in the mainpage journal until the next contest yields a winner. In addition, the winning piece will become the club's Featured Deviation until voting in the next contest starts.

2. Only one entry per person. You must be a member of ~The-Wicked-Club to submit an entry.
3. Only pieces that do not require a Mature Content label will be acceptable.
4. Your entry does not have to be a new piece created specifically for this Contest. If you already have a piece in your dA gallery that fits the theme, great! You may not, however, submit a piece that is already posted in the Club Gallery.
5. As with previous contests, animations are acceptable, but we cannot post animated pieces, so the entry must be accompanied by a preview image (which will become the Club's Featured Deviation if the animated piece wins).
6. Please note that contest entries will not be posted in the Club Gallery until right before Voting begins. So don't be freaked out if you submitted an entry and you haven't seen it posted yet!

How To Submit An Entry:
Send a Note titled CONTEST #5 ENTRY, and include the link to your deviation in the body of the Note.

THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! If the title of the Note doesn't include the word "contest" and the number of the current contest, the entry MIGHT NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE CONTEST.

What art is allowed and what is not?

Art Submission Rules
1. Fanfiction is not allowed.
2. Photographs and photomanipulations that are not your own are not allowed. This includes any photos or promotional materials from the musical. However, a photo of you dressed as Elphaba would be perfectly fine. You need permission from the model and the photographer if it's not you taking a picture of yourself.
3. Art featuring stock photography is allowed if you have permission from the stock photographer and you credit him/her in your deviation's description.
4. Respect copyright laws. Art containing obvious elements from published work is not allowed. (For example, a drawing of Elphaba and Glinda from the musical's CD cover would not be acceptable). The artwork must be entirely your own, or you must have permission from other artists involved. This also means that a drawing of Idina Menzel as Elphaba (if it's based off of one photo) is not allowed. Basically, if the club can tell which photo your piece is based on, the piece is not allowed. This rule is in accordance with Deviantart's Copyright Policy.
5. The Club reserves the right to put a Mature Content label on artwork that it feels contains questionable content. A short explanation for the label will be included in the description.
6. Please keep your image to a reasonably viewable size. If it's too big, the Club will resize it before posting it in the gallery.

Art that breaks any of these rules will not be posted or may be removed from the club gallery without notice. This is so the dA hounds don't come after us and make us shut down the club, because that would be sad.

People viewing submitted artwork will always be directed back to your original work for commenting and Favouriting.
